Post-doctoral position in surface treatment and/or optical detection methods.

The ideal candidate is a talented and highly motivated PhD with a good level of independence and a strong background in microfluidic devices development preferably for biomedical applications. Desired skills and experience should include at least four of the following: surface functionalization, microarray formation, oxygen plasma treatment, UV/ozone treatment, optical detection techniques, quantum dots and bio-functionalised nanoparticles for biosensing.
